Trailer of “Hichki”

Trailer of “Hichki”
Review Rowdy -

Review = After watching the trailer, you will feel that the movie is an extension to this year’s blockbuster hit Hindi Medium. Where in Hindi Medium, we had seen the flaws present in the process of implementing the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act constituted for the under – privileged children of the country, in HICHKI, we would be witnessing the treatment given to the children post their enrollment through RTE. The proceedings in the trailer are average and philosophical. First of all, I am not able to fathom that if Rani Mukherjee is suffering from a speech impediment (Tourette Syndrome in this case), then how is she selected as a teacher in an elite school. Also, it is clearly shown in the trailer that the students enrolled through RTE are been taught in a separate class, which is different from the students enrolled through normal admission process. I did a bit of a research on the topic and found this article(http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/bangalore/a-separate-d-section-for-rte-students/article7287936.ece)published in news daily The Hindu, which states that differentiated treatment to students enrolled through RTE is not permissible under the Act and they need to allocate them the seats with the general quota students. Well, I believe I will also be able to plot some more lacuna in the execution of the film post its release on February 23. After Mardaani, Rani Mukherjee is arriving on celluloid after 3 long years, and she will definitely be expecting this movie to do decent business at the box office.
